Mason job description
Our company is expanding and we are looking for a skilled mason with experience working on different types of residential projects with sound knowledge of mason equipment and tools. Our crew is upbeat, works fast, and has a variety of responsibilities day to day. Some of our jobs include rebuilding chimney stacks, installing masonry fireplaces, building patios, driveways, walkways, and restoring historical structures.
Responsibilities
- Lift, carry and place prepared blocks
- Mix cement and mortar
- Brick laying
- Placing, smoothing, and finishing concrete cement surfaces
- Restore old and worn masonry.
- Train apprentices
Salary based on experience
Requirements
3+ years' apprenticeship
Ability to work on scaffolding
Driver’s license
Love for working with stone
Bilingual Spanish and English a plus
